yes you are correct it is a cool weather plant and here in WA we can still plant another round before it gets too hot ..where you are I would hold off until late summer to plant more spinach or plant the New Zealand variety that is good for warmer climates and does not boltPurple Strawberry said:I know nothing about spinach. another thing from the garden I adore is deep fried spinach leaves! or if you want toss them on a a baking sheet with a little olive oil and bake them until crispy
sprinkled with a little sea salt and healthy chips
you can do the same with kale if you like
