I went out late last night to check if I'd properly secured the chick's space. I could see the moon and every star out there away from city lights. There was not a cloud in the sky that I could see, but in the north and west sky above the tree line, I watched a steady display of lightening - like the last minutes of a fireworks show - constantly lighting up and dancing across the sky. It was beautiful. It was also a bit scary because it was headed our way with high winds and heavy rains - perhaps even hail.Smiles said:I was out with the dogs to check on a slamming barn door at 3:30 this morning. 84F, humid, sticky, and very windy.
Alas, while we did get a moderate amount of wind, the rain continues to by-pass my part of the Earth. So today I pick up leaves and branches before I water the veggies. SIGH!
