I hope your seedling and plants will be ok from the frost, i agree i would protect them just in case better safe than sorry. As for the peppers you might have deep fried, dont worry about it, actually last year that happened to me i took the pepper seedlings and brought them outside and it looked like the sun scorced a few of their leaves, i got worried about it for awhile so much that i planted new pepper seeds, a week or two later new leaves began to grow i also moved them into a greenhouse when i saw the damaged leaves. They recoverd with no problems.
