i have some tulips from that region. very pretty in a refined manner. 
they are not out yet, but should be soon:
a lot of tulips are about to bloom here. they are survivors.

I have gone to the Roozengaarde tulip festival there a few times and it is just an incredible experience! I've never seen so many gorgeous flowers in one place!

There are literally thousands of different colors and petal combinations for tulips, and, they came from Turkey AND were, for a short time Dutch currency.
