Squash Problems...ugh!

The problem is....the plant itself is large with big flowers aaand tiny squash. The squash get about 2 inches and just quit growing and fall off. I was so looking forward to harvesting some squash soon.

Can I replant in hopes that they'll do better? I'm in zone 8

Mine never did produce. Although there was one giagaintor that got away from me.
