Bomb cyclone is predicted to hit the Pacific Ocean out of the range to come ashore and will have strong winds and rain in Northern California, Oregon and Washington.

The bomb cyclone responsible for this week's winds will remain offshore, but B.C.'s coast and mainland will still see intense wind gusts.

This is definitely a big topic of conversation at the moment, with predictions of downed trees and power outages. Tomorrow is supposed to be fairly nice, so before this weather event hits I need to focus on getting my garlic planted. Then Wednesday we can hunker down and stay inside where it's warm and dry.
