State Fair

Decided to do a buttermilk pie as well.

So for baked goods I entered carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, blueberry muffins, buttermilk pie, and peanut brittle. Under farm goods I entered brown eggs and my green eggs (other) . I let a friend enter my blue eggs. Under horticulture, I entered a knockout rose, my philadendron (sp?), and my bamboo plant. Since I'm not going to the fair itself, I'll have to wait until next Monday to find out if /what. I won.

Well, best wishes! I want you to know you inspired me to bake a carrot cake last night. I just finished a piece with a cup of coffee... so tasty!

Best of luck to you both! It's great that you had so many wonderful things to enter!
I took my four grandkids to the state fair this year so I didn't get to admire all the exhibits I usually do. The Fair is not one of my favorite places but it helped that the kids had a blast! Missed the deadline for entering mom's afghans this year but they will be there next year.
