It's my first time growing strawberries and I'm curious if I should thin them out of if it's fine having a few plants in the same section. I turn to you, my wise berry growers, to help me out. Should I kill off all but one per planter?

I would thin down to just the best one for a good start. You'll get plenty more by way of runners later.

What kind of pots are those? And how big? Hard to tell from a pic. Yes, if they are 4" or so pots, probably just one per pot would be best.

They're some coco fiber pots. Very small. I'm basically concerned with where I'll place them in a month from now in the garden and if multiple plants at one point are a good or bad idea.

If you can separate the individual plants when transplanting to the garden, I'd be tempted to not thin them. You will get a larger daily pick the more plants you have, during strawberry season.

i often soak my seedlings in a bucket of water, to help separate the root systems. The dirt wash's away, which makes separating them much easier without damaging them.

I had a 25'x12' bed of strawberry's, and would harvest at least 3 lbs a day during peak season. I could eat them daily, and still have 50-60 lbs in the freezer by the end of the season.

Yum!

My Alexandria strawberries have given me the most trouble so far. Likely caused by too much watering.
