Is it hard to start them from seed? Tell me all about it. I am intrigued. Where do you get the seed?

The're just finicky and fragile. My first attempt was germination on a paper towel, but after that I've realized it's easier to just start them in soil. After that it's just a process of watering just enough to keep them happy without rotting them at all. Once they get past that initial state they get stronger.

Some varieties will produce the first year, others will take a year to set, so just be sure to do that research first.

I think I got my seeds from Bakers Creek and Seed Savers.
