Red the minnows are the same, they are feeders for fish to small to eat goldfish. I have got some nice fish for my pond in feeder tanks. They usually have signs no picking, but I learned if I ask nice and tell that there for pond not food, I can pick.

Another benefit of getting feeder gold fish is that you might be able to work a deal with the fish store to take them back in the fall. They can sell the larger fish for much more than feeders and should give you new feeders in the spring.

When you say minnows, are they the same as guppies? I had a friend in HS that raised guppies, some had beautiful pastel coloring and really fancy tails.

No these are rosey minnows raised as feeder fish like gold fish
