Since my kids have selfishly grown up and gotten lives of their own I really miss their help with the landscape maintenance business. Been thinking about hiring some help, but training someone to do what my kids already did so well is daunting.

Then it struck me! I have the perfect candidate right here at home! I brought her into next years new garden space for a trial run. She did great at cutting things down! Like these sunflowers... and she even fertilized in there for me without me asking! This is her giving her approval of my choice of garden areas.

i would have enjoyed watching that interaction to see how it went. like did she look at you to check that it was really ok to eat those or did she just plow right in and enjoy them like a hungry teenager or ??? i like the look on her face in this picture, it's almost like a snicker or a good laugh.

She is the Queen of all she surveys, so definitely no appeal for approval. Haha.

write this all up and send it as a story to some magazine. very sweet all around. my eyes are all misty and stuffs...

i still think this when i go back and read it again. miss you and the horsie stories. hope all is well with you and your family (including the horsies) and that you have a great TG.
