Get them and use them for planting perennials in! Not too bad for a classic and unusual planter...imagine the truck with flowers pouring all over them... :love

Actually I saw that, Beekissed. It was a half ton truck that had sat in the same spot so long that red trumpet vine nearly covered it.

Bay I willn't restore but take a part and sell the parts. That is the only way people restoring antique trucks can get parts. One of the big auto magazines just did a article antique trucks are the hottest trend in cars now. The windshields alone are worth what he is asking. I had no choice and had to pay for $300 for pair of parking lights. If you need a part and someone else needs that same part, a bidding war happens. It might be years before that same part comes up for sale again. Problem is trucks are almost 2 hours away, if closer would offer $800 for pair.
