I've often thought about crossing Cabbage with Brussels Sprouts and then selecting for a multi heading Cabbage.
A few years ago I was doing some crosses of Kale with Broccoli. Still have the F1 seed, but after that year during which I had aphids I decided to put off cole crops for a few years. I might restart that project in a couple years.
Having a Cabbage plant that produces 3 to 5 small heads over the course of a few months would be a good variety for home gardens I think.
