I am wondering why cruise ships seem to be such unhealthy places.

Probably because a single contagious staff member has contact with thousands, in an enclosed space. It doesn't matter whether Patient 0 was a passenger or staff, it will reach a staff member eventually, and quickly spread from there. You couldn't pay me enough to get me on a cruise ship right now, COVID-19 is just the latest in a chain of recent infectious outbreaks on cruise lines. They're germ incubation chambers.

It makes me wonder how mariners are faring right now on commercial & Navy ships. There have been a few sketchy reports of quarantines, don't know whether those were preventative or reactive. Chances are that port calls will be few & far between, if any... could make for some stressful Navy cruises.

That sounds pretty good. and I really agree with that. Im starting my own and it's doing great.
