My painter painted both front and side door with the fabulous orange color I picked out. When I saw new paint job:ep all I could think of was taco bell. I ended up with a safe red.

I really questioned the colors the folks picked out on a reno I did for them, NOT my kinda colors at all, even tho I like green. Just could not imagine the house in those colors but it turned out OK. (I lived in it almost 15 years, it was a medium slatey blue with dark grey trim and wood door then.)

I'd be happy if my house was just one color, been painting on it for years it seems! One side at a time and when we run out of paint the next batch is never the same shade. O well, you can only see two sides at a time, right? o_O
I try to distract the eye with my flowders...

Love your clems Loco! And everything else too of course. :) I have a peachy colored daylily that looks very similar to yours blooming also.

I like the colors on your house, greens are some of my favorites and I like how the front door contrasts and compliments the siding.

My house is boring beigey vinyl siding. Some day (over the rainbow...) we'd like to replace it with Hardi planks. I'd totally go the colors here. Maybe add a third color along with the white window frames.

@Nyboy , Taco Bell, haha! That's funny! My sister did her front door orange, but a burnt orange shade. Looks classy.

@LocoYokel I am not a green fan but I really LIKE that shade of green. The flowers are stunning. After painting our BIG house only 1 time DH decided we where going with vinyl siding. LOL. Your clematis are STUNNING.

The green is going, I do not like it! Porch will be all white if we ever get the old paint scrapped and redone. (Been on the to do list for THREE summers!)
I have seen houses near me with a charcoal grey color scheme with black and white accents-I love the charcoal grey.
