These spinning circles didn't look so organized in the North Atlantic 24 hours ago. Twist the globe around to the east.

Yesterday morning, I thought that it might be dissipating and some of it did shoot off into the northern Mediterranean where it's causing trouble in southern Germany. (Some went east into North Africa, too weird!)

Organized again. It must be an enormous pain for the shipping industry.

This is when a mobile grooming truck would be handy.
I've seen a mobile unit made from a converted goose neck horse trailer.

It's looking like 14 inches this time, if the forecast is correct. I don't think the snow will stick around long though. While there is snow in the woods, the fields are all breaking out and all of our pathways are bare. It has been an early spring here!

8:30 rain mixed with snow, roads just wet for now. Forecast is change over to heavy snow 12 inches. For people in south heavy wet snow is what brings down the trees and powerlines

Areas of the Northeast continue to have melting snow problems.

This major snowstorm and one more after it:

melting temperatures between and after the storms may be as problematic as the snowfall.
