oh, that's what that is. we just mow it and forget it. we have other mints and weeds in the little grassy area that is left and the bunnies eat the stuff they like from there. they like the clovers, dandelions and plantains the best.

I will make sure to get some vaseline when I go out this afternoon...my hands are so tender and raw I want to cry.

In garden related things, I am hardening off my tomatoes and I went out and weeded the asparagus bed a few days ago. I am still pulling ridiculously long hours at work with no free time at all in daylight hours to garden, but that will be getting better soon.

My MIL never put her tomatoes out until Mother's Day. She lived in Decatur. If you do, be sure to give them a cover that you can put on top in case it gets too cold at night. If it's too cold for tomatoes, which come from central america, they will grow very slowly outside until we get consistent summer weather.
