WOW, those flats are really starting to green-up fast. Do you make your own cutting mix, is it different from regular potting soil? The little green house is working very well I would say!

That little does work well I just need to Dbl. the size.
I do make a custom cutting mix, I mix:
4 parts Peat (or regular seed starting mix will work also)
2 parts Builders Sand
1 part Horticultural Grade Vermiculite
The mix drains well but still holds a great deal of moisture and helps promotes a good root system.

The cabbage seedlings look good. Mine are just now starting to emerge.

Hi Windy,
My garden is 50 feet wide and around 150 feet long.
We do a lot of canning and the wife is planing on putting up around 75 to 100 qts. of tomato sauces this year.
