Admit your anxiety, Carol Dee!

I should admit to throwing rocks at rabbits and shooting marmots and ground squirrels. Making it sound like I only harbor bad intentions isn't very honest.

By the way, hitting a rabbit with a rock just seems to confuse 'em. They may not associate the rock with the ranting gardener in the distance. I'd assume that a moose would be smarter than that. And, I've got a tremendous assortment of rocks to choose from.

Throw a rock at a moose Steve? First of all if you got any response I think it would be a negative one, better do it from the second story!

That bull that was hanging out by the corral and making us a little twitchy never even blinked when dh finally went out and fired 3 shots from his .45 into the ground.

Yeah, they are confident creatures.

The calves are most likely to trot off, but then they have mama backing them up!

Absolutely not.

However, I didn't say how far it would be from my backdoor.

Wouldn't even need to go outside to find a rock. After all these years bouncing around on 'em and facing them at every twist and turn, I've got rocks on the brain.

Hey!

Does your printer have a scanner component, Carol? Hardly matters, you did a good job with your digital camera ;).

Dark critters, ain't they? Suppose they'd make a good lap robe for a winter sleigh ride?
