Good thinking! Easier to move a sled than a wheelbarrow in that anyway! Maybe you could market this idea, for winter chores...

i was trying to think if there was some sort of sled/wheel barrow idea already out there in use. well, there it is! :lol: i had to try and pull my wheeled garden barrow out to the coop a few weeks ago in the few inches of snow we had and it just didn't want to budge either empty or full.

Something like that would come in handy for bringing in wood, as well. Great idea there, thistlebloom!

With that set-up you can play crack the whip to sling the straw on the garden. And my chickens would never step on snow. A couple of weeks ago they stayed in the coop for a whole week. They're a bunch of chickens.
