It’s been bantered around for years. Same concept as auto steer. IMO, won’t happen as liability issues. Liability insurance will make it financially impractical. Maybe IF you add auto steer with drone technology? Somebody will have to be at field to run it. Inside of cabs have refrigerators, Internet abilities, surround sound, comfortable seats, air, heat, etc.... just need competent drivers who can pass the drug tests.
