Pictures might help...
The 4 bins will be one higher than the other & gravity spilled to the next.
I got one big Matala mat and a roll of coarse to use in these filters.
I'll be buying bioballs next. And I hope to use sieves to polish it all off at the end.
It'll double my filter volume & about triple the media.

Adding 4 bins to my filter setup.
The first bin has holes in bottom to "rain" and hopefully catch a lot of debris. It may not work out, time will tell. Rest are gravity fed and will have different stiff pads, then bioballs and last will be sieves to catch the finest bits of plant.
Not pretty nor fancy, but that's okay.

I think I'm gonna net off the plant roots in the new pond. The amount of constant mess is becoming a nucance.
