The Pond Thread

Here's test results for the pond, pool & water out of the well-spigot.

So glad I have plants, helps a ton with the nitrates I cannot "wash away"!
Pool is cycling! Water change tomorrow, every other day until cycled. But by then, hopefully, these guys can move into the pond.
Ammonia, nitrate, nitrite order.

Used Prime, so ammonia doesn't really show, but Prime also helps slime coat & all that.

If I didn't have plants, pond's nitrates would be higher.


I have no idea which it is...lol. They need to make a new test where colors are obviously different...Is this 10 or 20? No idea, 40 or under is safe, though.

Hmm, I'm not totally liking how the pale yellow w/net on top looks. Was hoping the net would get more defined. May sell this fish.

Looks like there's two similar ones in certain light. The one with the net looks better than the other, which seems to be a very pale yellow-white with a pale almost net. I think now, that one I'll sell and keep the other one...
Keep the one in the first 2 pics. Sell the one in 3rd pic

Ugh, really can't wait to catch each and decide...so hard to do through pics like this...
