Isn't it wonderful having such a young daughter?! Mine is 5 and she's the same way where EVERYTHING has to live. She shows compassion on so many levels, she went out of her way to mess up my nicely mowed yard to save a sunflower coming up in a rock pile she won't allow to be weed whacked. Not convenient, but she's happy so I don't care!
Like you, we donate extra to the food bank, but they aren't equip to take the extra eggs and things we want them too. They need refrigeration. But still the DD will pick things and ask if this one is for us, or to give away?
Either way, its a beautiful wonder to have a daughter!
