There Goes The New TV/ Update good News

Last night I had dinner with my dad, he felt good and wasn't fighting with any neighbors or family members. He called me this morning, I could tell by sound of his voice something was wrong. He said something happen to his dog, she could not walk and needed a Vet. My father doesn't run to vet often, our childhood dog went maybe 3 times in 14 years. I told him I would make some calls and get back to him. When I was a teenager I worked 2 years for a young vet just starting out. I called his Hospital got my father a appointment, then gave them my Visa number. I know they will want blood work and xray at very least. I can get along with out new TV, I don't think my dad can get along without dog. Waiting to hear from vet.

Dr doen't think to serous. Gave dog injection of Anti flammatory, wanted the dog to take oral antiflammations at home my dad said NO. he said dog will never eat pills I am so mad at my dad today cost me a few hundred and he not doing what Dr suggested.. I told my father when injection wears off he on his own.

Stubborn never accept pressure. The more you convince him that he is wrong, the more he tries to prove his opinion. Ask him - why he does so. Then ask if he thought about other options to solve the problem. Discuss these options with him. Tell about the possible consequences.

what about hiding the pill in some hamburger meat? It's your DAD that doesn't want to take pills, not the DOG!

Bay I suggest that, they also have pill pockets never seen a dog not eat them. they turn meditation time into treat time.

Pill pockets? Really! And here I just went through a month and a half of antibiotics with my dog (4 a day), and Cee Cee eating my very best shaved turkey hoping to trick her into downing the pills.

I really need to get out into the world more.
