We now have three grand daughters.....I look at Craigs list for ponies. DH will have a fit, but if I find what I want, the poor man doesn't stand a chance.

Well I am buying that property that is next to Thistle and getting a horse. That's all there is too it! I'm jealous of a horse taking all my friend's time! haha

From friends' with 5 kids and our own experiences with ponies ( 7 ponies ) .... they are NOT what they are cracked up to be. Get a small, well mannered full size horse instead and save yourself much grief.

Lots of nice ponies out there. I bought an older Shetland for my son when he was 4 and he rode with us on trails.

I think Bay is savvy enough to be able to reject the bad apples.
