This new multifunction wheelbarrow?

I learned the hard way, with wheelbarrows you get what you pay for. After going though 3 cheap wheelbarrows I purchase a very expensive one this weekend. Hopefully it will last a long time.

I'm with NYboy. I bought mine for about $60 7 years ago at an end of season sale. Just last fall it did develop a small crack in the tub, but that just drains the water out when I forget to upend it and it rains. I did have to replace the wooden handles once (about $13). It still has the original tire, albeit with a bottle of Slime Tire Sealant in it (about $8).

Yes in fact I DID buy it for my husband this weekend!
At first he didn't know exactly what it was so I had to explain a little (actually I made him watch the video on the muletto website) and he seemed genuinely excited
He, like most guys I assume, loves gadgets! Although I am not sure if this classifies as a gadget? It's still a multifunction 'thing-ma-bob' as I like to call it

I think for us this will work great as we do not have a massive yard and we sure will benefit of having just 1 tool in our shed vs 2 or more even as it comes with a bunch of accessories included. Maybe the cost would have been about the same for a wheelbarrow and hand truck, but this does so much more so I think it's better value overall?

We took it out of the box and were surprised how easy it was to put together(only the wheels and handles had to go on).
My husband said it looks like its built tough(all steel) and he looks forward to testing it out. We have a lot of big and heavy houseplants I always make him move out to the backyard in the summer. It's always a pain trying to drag them out and a real back breaker. This little tool has a plant moving accessory so I'm pretty sure he's going to love that feature!

Anyway, It rained here Sunday and so we could not use it, however once we get around to testing it out I'll be sure to let you guys know.

Funny to hear you complaining that your wife and father are doing all the work. My dad and his motto 'thats what you have kids for' would most likely be standing around and trying to boss me around where/how/what to do lol!

Yes my husband too is interested in lifting a lot of heavy rocks around the cottage with this. Hopefully it will be as easy as it looks in the videos!

wow that doesn't sound like fun. No bales of hay for us here, but I assume you would be able to lift one with the muletto since it does have the hand truck option?

You make a good point, well at least I hope we are understanding each other? Everyone seems to be saying that this is more on the pricy side.. although I justify it as more then just a wheelbarrow... with all the attachments it does 7 different things, and the space that this product saves us in the shed is great! Plus with my husband saying it looks like its built well, it eases my mind.

I'm not sure what he means, it seems to be pretty narrow so fitting it between doorways (or our back gate) is just fine. Its not massive like those construction sized wheelbarrows.

Anyway it seems like I am getting more into this product rather than my husband who is waiting for the weekend/cottage to use it... hehe

Hey all!

Saturday was a beautiful day and my husband and I got to enjoy most of it outside.
Firstly in our backyard and then a patio dinner afterwards.

Anyhow, I got my husband to tidy up the garage as I worked in our garden.

He loaded up the muletto with some old cement bags and brought them back to the shed. When he passed by me he shouted "you have got to try this!"
He had three 80lbs bags in there but it felt like nothing at all!
The two wheels which are positioned right underneath the load really make a difference in lifting and moving the wheelbarrow.
I was actually surprised at how light it was. I could only imagine trying to move close to 200lbs in a normal wheelbarrow yikes!

Secondly we tried the flower pot attachment. To be honest we did not need to move the pots anywhere, we were more curious to see how this worked.
Once again, super easy and very light to move. I wrapped the strap around my big 18" pot which holds my pretty large ficus tree and lifted it with ease. I moved it around to see the balance and was very impressed. Whomever designed this was very clever

As the season goes by I am sure we will find more uses for our Muletto. Although despite getting it for my husband, I am finding that this makes a perfect tool for a woman. The leverage in the different uses really makes lifting and moving heavy objects quite easy. I'm impressed!

I'll keep you guys posted on any other uses I find for the muletto.

Ooh, now I want one! I have a little cart, but it is not very convenient. Still better than carrying stuff, tho.
