Thistle Do you Have Sweet Summer Clematis?

Nyboy, that usually happens to me when on a road trip. I'll mention to my husband that I'd like to stop and he says we'll stop on the way back. Well that never happens. Now I've learned to say "you stop this friggin car right now or I'll jump out"! Ha

Mary, I TRY to make a point of buying a plant on every trip I take. Sometimes it's something like a couple of daylilies or sometimes just a couple of 3" pots of some little ground cover. I like being able to walk around the yard and think "there's Vickie's wedding, and there's Nina's birthday, and there's Gene's funeral, and there's Jimmy's graduation from boot camp...."
Traveling alone - I don't usually have a problem stopping - LOL

And why I can't work retail. I worked for a pet store back in high school and was forever pulling plants aside or fish or something aside or hiding it so I could pick it up at the end of my shift. I was terrible about it and I made no unselfish bones about it either! I never made a big deal about it but I knew where I could stash stuff!

And if it wasn't practical I'd just slap a SOLD tag on it for good measure!

I wasn't going to let something past me I figured it was one of the few perks I got for being there. And my wife will attest to my incurable impulse-itis.

Great find by the way!

@Nyboy, here's my new girl, all tucked in with a trellis by the front door.

I just got it planted this afternoon. I'm so pleased you told me about it.
I'm expecting great things in the next few years!

That's the perfect place thistle. Seems like everyone has stargazer lillies except me. :( Have to tuck a couple in my perennial bed next year.
