Easy on the purple mashed potatoes......I had the Adirondack blues pushed on me by the most gentle sweetest little old great grandma of a woman who is the matriarch of the family nursery I shop at. I went up there for just some red skins and russets and I took my daughter with me. Sure enough the Matriarch saw us and pulled out these blue mesh bags with a handful of seed potatoes said I just HAD to do them for my daughter who'd love them since her grandchildren love them. Course who am I to say no? My wife still shakes her head at me every time she sees a blue potato at the farmers market or in our garden.
I don't know what the end product is going to look like we'll have to see.
And if you think peaches and pound cake sounds good......go make some peach butter and drizzle that over some pound cake....or better yet go pour it over some vanilla ice cream
