I am missing the tree stump when I look at my old garden photos.
I used to make a 'scarecrow" out of that old stump!

Here are some photos of my Morning Glory vines in past years. This was before the Chicken Coop was built in that spot in the garden. I have grown morning glories over Sunflowers and PVC pipe to make some arches in the garden.

I got a bunch of old pallets for free that year. Now most of them are painted white.
Where did you get your pallets? I have contacted homedepot, tractor supply, walmart...
and they all send them back to the warehouses..

I got them from my husband's office. They always have stack of old pallets there for anyone that would like to take them.

If you have in your area, an "Industrial" park, where there is a mixture of offices and light manufacturing, many times near the dumpsters you will find pallets. Some times the local feedstores give them away. Just keep an eye out as you drive around your area.

Wow, I love the pictures there are some awesome garden here. I am growing morning glories. I soak them, planted them last Tuesday and had 2 sprouts on Sunday. I was looking at the yesterday and I might have screwed up in planting them. I planted them in small seed trays with all the other flowers. They seem to be taking up the entire seed pot after only just sprouting. Should I move them? Will it hurt them with them being only just sprouted. I wait to move pepper and tomatoes until after they have "true leaves".

Baby Morning Glories are pretty hardy, I transplant many seedlings around the yard. They don't move all that well once established.

I never do anything to the seeds. In fact now, I gather as many as I can for gifts to others, and whatever falls comes up in the spring. They are a weed in my yard. have them coming up everywhere!!

My goal is to have a many of my flowers as perennials or self seeding as possible. This is my first year for morning glories though. I am also planting Job tears which will replant themselves too if they every come up.
