Deeply Rooted
I have staked, caged, trellised, left to vine on the ground even...I like them all... this year I am going to try trellising most of my tomatoes...I got a good deal on trellis netting at Johnny's
that is so cool you posted that.. guess what.. they were building a wire "cage" storage area at the church to house awana stuff for the kids and they used fencing around the outside .. so you can see inside but be able to put a lock on it.. just to deter people if you will... anyway.. they used 5 foot tall fencing .. and had like 20+ feet left over .. they gave it to me :rose so I will be "fencing" my tomatos.. I plan od snipping and bending too..vfem said:I just bought galvanized wire fencing $54 for 100 ft. We're going to start snipping and bending tomorrow!
Hog rings work great for joining the two ends.vfem said:I just bought galvanized wire fencing $54 for 100 ft. We're going to start snipping and bending tomorrow!
They're metal clips to hold fencing together. I don't have any pics of them, but DH used to come home from work with them in his pockets (was a fence foreman before we moved).barefoot okie said:There are some good ideals here...question what are hog rings?
