i really like how the sun from behind to the east is casting the shadow onto the overlayering clouds above but it is an optical illusion to me thinking that the shadow is being cast upon the clouds in the back.

yes, now for me the rest of the season i think of it as getting over the hump, i.e. the winter solstice and we're already 13 days further towards that from the equinox. with how busy i usually can be the next few weeks it really can seem to go quickly.
