I had a collection of vintage gnomes that belonged to a uncle. I had about 7 of them in shade garden by road. Someone stole the cement ones and left the one plastic one.:barnie

The loss is sad but it is funny that you should mention theft.

That's how I first came to grow Thessaloniki. Well, I didn't exactly steal it ... St Paul would have probably approved ;).

A local guy was selling tomatoes and identifying them at the farmers market. I have started tomato plants indoors for years and stopped a few minutes to look at his offerings. I left with 2 tomatoes. The next spring, I had Thessaloniki plants in my garden.
