Tomato Problem

Don't feel bad Nyboy-my tomatoes have the same thing. And the San Augustine grass in the front yard too. It has rained a lot, it is muggy, humid, soggy and has done this on and off all spring.

It does sound like leaf spot. I deal with it every year, just a matter of when it hits. Removing the bottom leaves at planting can help. I also remove as much of the affected leaves as possible if it hits early in the season. I have tried fungicides, but it takes too much spraying to keep up with the rains. Mulching may help some, as I do mulch most years, at least it puts it off until later in the season.

Two years ago we had a drought, not a single spot until mid- August. I really don't like droughts though.
