tomato troubles

i have good tomato plants this year and it has been a strange season

the tomato fruit has got marks on them on the top half when you look at it
the whole crop does not have the marks and mainly affected where the fruit is on the outside of the cluster of plants
the marks colour is dull white yelllow

Could it be sunscald, vegie chicken:

If so, it just indicates too much exposure to sunlight.

Some plants are more susceptible to sunscald because of limited foliage cover. Perhaps, the skin of the fruit on some varieties is more easily damaged, as well.
