Just got back from the plant store, I bought big boy tomatoes, some heirloom tomatoes, squash, and cantaloupe.
What varieties of heirlooms? :weee

How many plants did you get of each? I'm sure that will be enough to sell some stuff this year and see what produces well and sells well too!

Looks like you'll have plenty of fruits then.

Mr. Stripey is a good variety overall, IMO. The plant does bear fruit very late and is not the highest producer however the fruit it does produce taste very good and look very cool. Pick the fruit right at it's peak because if you leave it on too long it will begin to over ripen very quickly (this can be tricky since the fruits don't turn red or any one color in general). I don't recommend pruning this variety at all because they are generally more susceptible to cracking and pruning may increase this. Using crushed eggshells around the base of the plant and regular watering will keep calcium levels up and help prevent cracking as well, IME.

Good luck to you and keep us posted.
