they're fairly easy to make.
#1: cut a milk jug cap-sized hole in the bottom of a bucket.

#2: take some fairly thin(half inch thick or less) styrofoam and cut into about 4" by 4" squares

#3: cut about a pinky-sized hole in the styrofoam

#4: cut from the hole to the outside of the piece, so it can be fitted around the plant later

#5: cut an "x" through the hole, so the edges of the "x" extend a little past the hole, so as the plant grows, the styrofoam will "grow" with it

#6: place the styrofoam around the base of the plant, and pull the top of the plant through the inside of the bucket and out the bottom

#7: half fill the bucket with soil, fertilizer, cut grass, and or whatever you feel like putting in there

#8: now you need to hang it. i'll let you find your own way to do this, as the situation is different with everybody.

the styrofoam is to keep the soil from falling out the bottom
