Transmission job

My DH and Son just did the transmission on his old chevy pick up. Yes, even with 2 of them out there I hang around with the phone just in case. He does not proper stands either. Glad you are being so careful and Dew is there by the phone.

I have the tranny out and in the other house. I have most of it tore down and for the life of me, I can't figure out what went wrong yet. I still have the valve body and band servos to inspect as well as the entire OD unit. Strangely, I can still read the factory ink stamps on the clutch plates :/ They look like new, but the bands are very worn. I find it hard to believe this transmission has over 250,000 miles on it. I wish I knew its history.
