I was looking back today and (sorta) wondering why I didn't grow Tyfon Holland greens after only one year of trying them as something new in 2014.

Remember these (LINK) :D?

I have the idea that the reason I didn't grow them is because the only two seed companies that carry Tyfon Holland are ones that I haven't ordered from in years: Nichols Garden and Pinetree. Outta seed is outta seed ...

Hey, you know what I came up with!?

Well, I haven't quite got it yet but, close. DW is on a soup kick: two day old soup has to be finished; then, she made a different soup yesterday (we ate all of it ;)); she's got parsnips with chicken and rice, already started this morning! Irrepressible!

Anyway, I was watching a little video on Jamie Oliver's website about "an open-face" lasagna. See, it is just individual lasagna made like an open-face sandwich, heavy on the marinara sauce. I was interested in the use of smoked paprika.

Checking recipes to move the scale outta the meat emphasis a little, I found zucchini. Okay, but not only are my zucchini long past but I tried those substitutions in 2015 with pumpkin. Yeah!

Well, we all know that there are a ton of veggie lasagna recipes using zucchini. @Nyboy has found a pumpkin pasta sauce. How about subbing the pumpkin in and putting it under a marinara sauce? I can even imagine the smoked paprika going better with the pumpkin than the zucchini ...
