thinking about doing a tread on how a truck tire is retreaded...if anyone is interested?
Actually, retreads last better than new tires. Because of the rigorous inspection, the hand detailing, the glue, retreads stay together pretty good. I don't run retreads on our pick up trucks, but have had tires separate and bend the fenders.Yes, and all the reasons that one runs over a retreaded tire projectile from a big rig with traier that dethreads right in front of you and flies up just in time to land in front of your car and you have NO chance to avoid running over it and then you have to install a new muffler to replace the twisted metal of the former mufler now residing along the rear end of your car. The trucker was long gone or he would havepaid for the dammages.
