Let me know how your lantana cutting go. I tried some. I made a total of 12. I cut at the nodes and removed all but two leaves. I placed them in a potting soil mix. The dog ate six of them. The baby "planted" three so I am down to 4. I didn't put the humitiy bag over them though... Two look like they are sprouting new growth and two look like they died. :/

I also struck Lantana cuttings a few weeks back.
I only lost a few.

Here is a couple pictures, as you can see (sorry for the glare) they lost all there leaves that I left on.

Now it setting out new leaves, it looked dead for a week!
Just let it sit! Don't give up to soon on them.

injunjoe - hmm.....so you start your cuttings in an aquarium? That sounds like a good idea....never thought of that.....does it help keep in moisture?

Yes they help a lot.
They are turned upside down and placed on glass on a big rack.
I leave a vent on the end of the tank. If it looks dry I just mist the air in the tank through the vent.

The top of the tank is great also because you can put water up there to raise the humidity for the plants above on the shelf above.
