Garden Master
She took a bulb and bit it in two. I had a couple I had dug up when we put in our new flowerbed. I meant to replant them elsewhere and just tossed them under a bush and forgot about them. I saw her do it and ran to take it away. It looked like it was all there, but apparently she swallowed a tiny piece, about the size of half an aspirin tablet. Right before bedtime she got sick and I had a whole lot of carpet to clean. :/ But I'm glad we figured out what happened before we put her down for bed.
I didn't know about the peroxide trick for dogs. I remember my mom kept ipecac syrup on hand in case one of us kids was poisoned, but they don't recommend that anymore. I guess with the advent of the poison control center, they can handle each case more specifically and no sense in causing them dehyration if you don't have to. I remember my sister ate a poison mushroom from the yard and also a rhubarb leaf when she was little. We say that this one definitely takes after her aunt in being a handful! My oldest DD was always clung to my leg and crying so that I couldn't get anything done outside. This one is the total opposite. You set her down and she is off and *gone* in a heartbeat. The grandmas actually dread to watch her since they can't keep up with her.
Here's a pic I snapped of her this evening, first time with her hair pulled into pig-tails. She is 16 months old now. Doesn't she just look rotten? LOL
