It was 64° and I was wet from the morning rain :\. A man can only take so much abuse, you know ...

Outdoors, in the rain, the temperature is in the 40's and it is only supposed to warm up to 55° and take until 5pm to do it! If so, it will be the coolest afternoon since April.

I'll trade ya...it's 86 and very humid here, so feels like 90. Cooler than yesterday but still muggier than I like to work in.

I know! Went from all the windows open, fans roaring, shorts and tanks, to windows shut, jeans and flannels. I'm eyeballing the little kitchen heater as I sit here with (another) hot cup of coffee.
Too early to think about building a fire, so maybe I should do some baking instead.

 shudder the thought of having to turn on the heat this time of year. we just filled the fuel tank and we have wood being delivered Monday. we're supposed to have in the 80's today and tomorrow and the next few days in the 90's. night time temps got into the low 50's last couple nights though.

Really hot here today; has been all week. I have finally been having to water the garden. We have another week of July weather, then by next Friday, supposed to be high in the 70's. Looking forward to that!

Raining here too, pouring down actually. I'm trying not to be grumpy about the rain, saved our butts from fires incinerating the whole of western Montana, BUT i had a lot of things to do outside today! Guess its change of plans!

Same here, me too!!! Mom and I were out this morning taking the carburetor off the wood splitter and the sun was drilling a hole in my head at 9 am, so I can't wait for cooler weather. Fall is my favorite season and winter doesn't bother me at all, spring is lovely and fair....summer? Around here it can be a misery of breathing air like a wet towel.

The Weather Service says afternoons back in the 80's by Thursday or Friday.

I'm glad. After records set in June, July and August, it would be a little disappointing to slide right into a frost. Fire suppression is critically needed but having some September warmth would be nice.

Still ... rain ... you know, the summer months are usually dry but this summer has been tragically dry after so little winter snow.
