Yes, the weeds have been prolific there and everywhere else in the backyard this summer. The tomatoes I grow there and the zucchini are doing very well too.@sumi, do weeds grow well in that area?
LOL A very small one? My neighbours used to burn their rubbish in my backyard, before I moved in, but further over from where I made the vegetable bed. I dug over the area before I sowed the seeds, so they have space for roots. It's just strange, that one spot, no-go peppers, 15 feet away, happy pepper.i left out crop circles... could be a burn pile spot or super compacted soil to have plants be that slow to grow. mebbe turn it and mix/add some compost and i hope that helps give future plants some more rooting space.
