unrelenting cold and snow, Northeast

We had 2 more inches last night but, it is warm enough to melt a bit today and yesterday. Record cold coming in tonight. The governor issued a warning because we have rain coming soon too. And then more snow. I guess ice dams are the worry. We are not used to that although other parts of the country have a problem with that I guess. There have been many failed roofs, avalanches off of buildings during people-not one hurt too bad, Thank God! April when will you be here?

Considering we've been through all kinds of weather calamities, it's nice to be in the band of 'normal' temperatures for once!

Me! Normal! Who would've thunk it? Drinking coffee in new house, boxes every where, Trip the puppy killed and ate his first gopher, dogs and horses loving it! Cloudy, cool and going to rain, have some sprouting taters, gotta go play in dirt. NORMAL!

Well looks like it's my turn to batten down the hatches. Weathermen are calling for about 8 inches maybe more for tomorrow. :'(
