That's what we were wishing for....a way to use the apple wood for its fragrance and we may still use it for our occasional bonfires we have out here with the family, but I'd love to use it in a smoker.

spent the last 3 days up in ashland ,va helping closing down a store, nothing like 15 hour days everything had to be counted from tires to tp and loaded on to trucks
6 tractor trailer loads and 5 box truck loads and that does not count what we put in the cargo containers to be ship to other stores soon..

anyway we got done this morning put my tool box on the back of the tractor trailer that i was driving, filled out my logbook book and put the hammer down heading south on i-95/ i/85 got to @canesisters neck of the woods well looky it's snowing all the trees were covered with that evil white stuff, hammering down to the state line blue bird skies dropped off that rig at work and jumped into a box truck<since i am still covering for another driver for a couple more weeks> and drove home.

will have to say the sleeps inn in ashland va has the most comfortable beds in any of the places that i have been sent too.... but it's going to be soooooo nice to sleep in my own bed with both of my girls tonight......

Fifteen hour days, I might be able to sleep on a hardwood floor. (I probably could not get up off it, is all ;).)

Records were set yesterday at some nearby weather stations.

It was above 70°f, here. I looked back 10 years. It was never once above 70° in March.

After 1/4" of overnight rain, we are having 40+ mph wind gusts ... I had things to do in the greenhouse today. It was chaotic!. With a lot of morning sunshine, I had trouble figuring out how to open it up to keep it comfortable for me and the plants, without it blowing to pieces in the wind! Just as windy but it's cloudy, now. With 56° outdoors, I don't need to worry about venting.

The snow is starting to shrink and the driveway is deep mud! I think this past Tuesday morning was our last below zero morning for this winter season (at least I hope it was!).
