Using Aquarium Water in Garden

I have been dumping the water from water changes to my aquarium on Harvey's manure pile. The only chemical I use in fishtank is Stress coat http://www.apifishcare.com/product.php?id=652#.WNEXIL3G6q0 is this water safe to use on plants ?

I don't see a list of ingredients. I'd think you'd be OK, but why not contact the company and ask them?

Isn't that how aquaponics works? Sort of?
I bet you could water plants directly with it.

U r fine.... stress coat has a natural liquid that some on here drink. Aloe Vera juice.

I would think these chemicals become inert very rapidly.

aquarium water is nutrient rich, using it for a single plant in a small pot that has already been over fed could just be adding fuel to the fire, but for any and all other situations the plant or plants will welcome it.

If it doesn 't kill a fish it won't kill your plants.
