I found this behind and abandoned house on the landfill where I work. It was hidden in a patch of iris. Someone damaged the iris (which I'm going to rescue this afternoon ;) ) and as long as I'm digging there, I'd like to take this too.
It is the leaves with the silver stripe in the middle. At least 1 visible leaf seems to have lobes (right word?). You can also see that it seems to grow as a vine. Maybe a vining ground cover? It's small - the mature looking leaves are only about 2" long.

I can't find any passion flower pictures with similar leaves...

But... could it possibly be a clematis????
Check out the leaves in the bottom right corner of this pict:

There are 3 large veins in each leaf of the mystery plant. Here is a picture of sweet autumn clematis leaf (not verigated):

(I have wasted way too much time googleing today...)

Leaving for lunch soon, will have a MUCH better look at it within the hour.

Oh my gosh!!! The bottom leaf in your pict looks exactly like the biggest leaf on my 'mystery plant' picture!!! :clap
I didn't have time Friday to pull it all up from under a year's worth of overgrown grass.. But as I was digging up iris' I did find that it has a thin, woody stem and seems to be spread pretty widely under the grass. I'll go back sometime this week and see if I can locate a root. If I can get it up and it survives, it's going on that pine stump. :)
