Volunteer Painted Mountain Corn

Thanks to Steve, I grew Painted Mtn also. And thanks to Seedcorns information I did as Steve did and made cornbread with it.
I modified my grandmas recipe and it was delicious. My husband who's not real interested in cornbread ordinarily, goes for seconds (and thirds! ) It's such a beautiful crop, as it grows and also as it's taken off the cob.

We made the corn bread with Thistleblooms recipe and the corn and the same thing happened. Randyman loved it. Made me think of that dumb old coffee commercial..."he NEVER went back for seconds on MY cornbread..."
