washer - top load or front load?

Wow seedcorn...that's ALOT of water just to wash clothes. I like the ones that have several different level options. And then, I hang everything outside on the line. Before I relocated to SC, I had to hang clothes to dry inside. Where I lived in KS didn't allow outside clotheslines or gardens.

Tell me about it! Septic tank couldnt keep up as she would do a load everytime there was a dirty piece. dont get me started!!!!!

This is what my wife has been washing clothes with for a few years. We bought it to save water. She really likes it. We use the top loader for something else now. Look here.
